Melissa Hickey, BSW, RSW, is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and also a student member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Melissa obtained a Social Service Worker diploma from Algonquin College, a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Carleton University and is currently working on obtaining her Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology. Melissa uses a strengths-based and client-centred approach with her clients. Melissa has obtained professional training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Melissa is currently employed as an intake worker at OICBT.
