Dhrasti Shah completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Ottawa Centre for Psychological Services and Research. She works with adults experiencing difficulties with mood, anxiety (i.e., GAD, social, illness, and Panic), stress (e.g., school, university and work), and Post-Traumatic Stress and related difficulties. Dhrasti also has experience in helping clients with relationship issues, navigating life transitions, grief, managing emotions, and health-related difficulties (i.e., adjustment to chronic health conditions, fear of cancer or illness reoccurrence).  She works with her clients to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their individual needs, with the goal of increasing their quality of life and functioning. Dhrasti’s approach in therapy is primarily cognitive-behavioural, although she integrates other interventions (e.g., Interpersonal Therapy, and Dialectic Behaviour Therapy Interventions) when needed.
