Neva Hui obtained her master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto. She has experience providing assessment and treatment to clients with complex mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, chronic pain, and neurological disorders in hospital and community settings. Using a client-centred approach, she partners with clients to promote engagement, safety, and independence in the context of daily activities and functional goals. Neva has published a research paper exploring the gendered experiences of inclusive education for children with disabilities in Africa and continues to have interest in the intersections amongst health, gender, and inclusion. In collaboration with the OICBT team, Neva uses a cognitive-behavioural approach to support clients within the Home and Community Program and the Intensive OCD Program.
