Neva Hui is a registered occupational therapist with experience working with clients with a wide range of mental health challenges. She obtained her master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and is licensed to practice psychotherapy under the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.

Although many individuals hear the word "occupation" and think of employment, in occupational therapy, "occupations" refer to the everyday activities that bring meaning and purpose to one's life - the things that people want to do, or need to do.

In the role of a mental health occupational therapist, Neva integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy skills, and behavioural activation techniques to help individuals get back to doing the things they want to do, and becoming the person they want to be.

She provides individual therapy to clients experiencing difficulties with depression, ADHD, perfectionism, stress, grief, chronic pain, and anxiety-related disorders, including OCD, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, and health anxiety. She also works as a part of an interdisciplinary team in the Intensive Treatment Program to provide care to clients who benefit from increased treatment intensity.
