Katerina Papakonstantinou MSc., is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Katerina obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Crete in Greece and her master’s degree in psychology from Leiden University in the Netherlands.
Katerina’s therapeutic approach draws from various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focus Therapy (EFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She works collaboratively with my clients to develop personalised treatment plans to best fit each individual’s needs. Katerina’s experience involves helping adults with anxiety related disorders, depression, ADHD, BPD as well as interpersonal difficulties and self-esteem challenges.
She provides individual therapy for adults at the Ottawa Institute of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (OICBT). Katerina is dedicated to providing a compassionate and supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours as she believes in the power of therapy to foster personal growth, resilience, and healing. She is committed to helping client’s navigate life’s challenges with greater self-awareness and fulfilment.
