Understanding the perspectives and experiences of our clients is imperative to quality improvement at the OICBT. Clients are asked to complete psychological outcome questionnaires during treatment and anonymous satisfaction surveys following treatment, to help us maintain the highest level of care in all areas of our practice.
The OICBT has provided therapeutic services to thousands of clients across Ontario since our practice was established in 2009. In addition to helping clients, we have provided training to hundreds of supervisees and other health professionals in the community.

Most studies show that on average individuals respond to CBT with a 60-80% reduction in symptoms. To help determine whether the treatment we are providing is effective, clients complete psychological outcome questionnaires that measure their improvement over time.
We use client feedback as one of many methods of quality assurance within our practice. We welcome clients to complete anonymous feedback surveys after each service at the OICBT, which we review regularly to refine our services.

Client satisfaction surveys are completely anonymous. Our psychological outcome measures (completed via Greenspace) are not anonymous but are confidential, as these used in measurement-based treatment. We may share aggregate, de-identified statistics and outcomes on our website, research presentations etc.
To comply with these confidentiality regulations, we are unable to reply to a specific review, acknowledge whether an individual is or is not a client with us, nor if an individual has or has not received services with us. That said, client feedback is very important to us. We encourage clients to provide their input by contacting us.
These surveys are reviewed every four months, after which we then update the results on our website.
