Dr. Perron engages in ongoing professional development outside of his clinical practice. He builds on the extensive coursework completed as part of his training in University of Ottawa’s Clinical Psychology program. The program is structured according to a Scientist-Practitioner model and, as such, Dr. Perron completed a rigorous research program leading to a doctoral thesis, in addition to his clinical training.
His clinical training included intensive practicum work at sites such as The Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre, Dr. Peggy Kleinplatz’s Sexual Health Clinic, and the Centre for Psychological Services and Research.
His doctoral training culminated in 2018 with a year-long Residency at the OICBT.
