Dr. Cathy Dandurand is a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of direct and consultative services. She is a partner and Executive Director of Clinical Care at OICBT, and a Clinical Professor at the University of Ottawa. In the provision of therapy, Dr. Dandurand is dedicated to helping you move towards deepened self-understanding, integrate values-based actions that hold the greatest meaning for you, and establish connections (to oneself, others, & life) that are most reflective of who you are. Using research-based therapies, Dr. Dandurand applies an inclusive, compassion-focused and strength-based approach to guide practical solutions, self-discovery and empowerment. She hopes to bring a warm presence, empathy and genuine curiosity to build a path of inner-resiliency that closes the gap between where you are and where you want to be. To account for clients in their fullest totality, Dr. Dandurand’s care integrates a holistic lens that is attuned to all aspects of your being/identities that are important to you. Dr. Dandurand is passionate about stigma reduction and authentic being.
In person and on-line therapy is available. When Dr. Dandurand’s waitlist is closed, work with her supervisees/consultees can be requested as an indirect means to work under her care.
