Justine Braham

Resident; Clinical Psychology

Justine Braham is a sixth-year PhD candidate in the clinical psychology program at the University of Ottawa. She is currently completing her pre-doctoral internship at the Ottawa Institute of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (OICBT). At the OICBT, Justine works under the supervision of clinical psychologists Dr. Michael Bodner, Dr. Kathryn Sexton, and Dr. Connie Dalton. She takes a warm, integrative approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Justine provides assessment and individual, couples, and group therapy to clients navigating a range of challenges, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, obsessive and compulsive disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and personality disorders. Her style is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in research evidence while being tailored to each person’s unique needs, goals, and strengths.
