Hanya Ismail
Hanya Ismail is a Clinical Psychology PhD student at the University of Ottawa, currently completing her external clinical practicum at the Ottawa Institute of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (OICBT). Under the supervision of Dr. Kathryn Sexton, Hanya is actively involved in the Intensive Treatment Program (ITP) as well as the Mood and Anxiety streams, where she provides evidence-based psychological care to clients.
Hanya is passionate about delivering compassionate, client-centered therapy grounded in the latest research. She is committed to helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges and achieve meaningful, lasting change. Her clinical work is guided by a collaborative approach, ensuring clients feel supported and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. Hanya is currently offering both in-person (on Mondays) and virtual services in English.
