Andrea LeFebvre, B.Sc., is a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa and is currently a Psychology Resident at the OICBT. In her dissertation research, she studies types of motivations that drive people’s pursuit of well-being. Her clinical interests include supporting clients with anxiety, mood, ADHD, personality, health, and trauma-related difficulties. She has previously trained at the OICBT, the Centre for Psychological Services and Research (CPSR), the Montfort Hospital, and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario providing assessments and individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She primarily uses a cognitive behavioural approach to therapy and has also trained with approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She offers individual therapy at OICBT.
