Neva Hui

Occupational Therapist

Neva Hui is an occupational therapist with 8 years of experience practicing in the mental health field. She has been providing individual psychotherapy for the past 5 years at the Ottawa Institute of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. As an occupational therapist and psychotherapist, Neva brings a holistic and functional lens to therapy. She believes that our experiences are shaped by various interconnected aspects of ourselves: our narratives, physical bodies, cultural and environmental contexts, roles and relationships. Neva blends various evidence-based CBT principles to explore how these facets may be impacting clients and identify a starting point for change. She is passionate about coming alongside clients with empathy and curiosity to empower them in building the life they envision for themselves.

Neva offers therapy sessions online via secure video. Community-based sessions can be offered in-person depending on location and availability.
